Challenger Disaster January 28, 1986

Post by JaKballer on Tue Jan 23, 2018 7:35 pm

For History class I did a report for school and picked the Challenger disaster, where 7 astronauts died, on January 28th, 1986.
My dad was a pilot for Southwest, so anything to do with rockets, or planes interest me.

This is one of the best video's of what happened and shots of the accident that I have found and want to share it with anyone who wants to use it for a report.

This Event Was Truly A Sad Yet Monumental Day In History....!

Watching It Live On TV Stunned The Entire World....!

It's Unfortunate That It Took A Tragedy Such As This, To Reveal How Many Short-Cuts Were Being Made To Cut Costs.....!

Although 17 Years Later (2003), Columbia Broke Apart Upon Re-Entry.....Great Improvements In Safety & Design Protocols Have Been Implemented Into The Programs.....!

NASA Continues To Be The World's Premier Space Exploration Entity....!

Thank You JaKob, For Reminding Peeps Of The Importance Of Knowing About History......Good OR Bad.....!
