Harvest - for all that drive

Post by Ryan on Fri Sep 30, 2016 6:13 pm

Just want to remind all of you that drive, all of you that drive that get annoyed by tractors and trailers, that fall harvest has started here in the midwest. As you can see from the photo, we are starting on our 800 acres.

Please remember that in Illinois, farmers have a right to be on the roads with tractors and trailers, we all use slow moving vehicle reflectors, and we ask that you give us the courtesy of not trying to pass us on a curve, or flipping us off when you pass us because you are in a hurry and are pissed off.

Whenever possible if we are on the road we will pull over if we see several cars behind us, but keep in mind we cannot pull over if there is no road shoulder, and we are not going to wipe out mailboxes just to let you pass.

Remember, the farmers grow the feed for the beef you eat, we grow the beans you eat, and the grain for the bread and cereal you eat.

Let's be courteous to one another out there on the roads.
